The starters of the day include a tempting and crispy black pudding served with Golden Delicious apples, a succulent duck foie gras terrine topped with a fig chutney, and a lentil and tongue of beef salad... These are just a few examples from the winter menu, all of which can also be enjoyed as a dish of the day.

The dishes are sure to tantalise the taste buds, from beef tartare to andouillette sausage from Lyon's renowned Sibilia charcutier. And then there's calf's head with its gribiche sauce, fillet of gilt-head bream or the meltingly tender lamb shank served with Tarbais beans.

And as befits the bistro tradition, cheeses are taken very seriously here and given pride of place. Whether you choose to indulge in Mère Richard's half Saint-Marcellin, a Bleu d'Auvergne, traditional ‘Cervelle des Canuts’ or fresh goat's cheese, marinated in the aromas of thyme, they all provide the perfect transition before the desserts bring the meal to its delectable close.

Today, the restaurant is a prized address in a district where its professional clientele - whether they come from the nearby Palais de Justice or neighbouring offices - are seeking that rare gem for their lunchtime rendezvous: an inviting atmosphere, where you can be sure to enjoy a superb meal in under an hour.

In the evening, it is frequented by our regulars who, whether they are neighbours or from further afield, flock here to enjoy dinner preceded by one of our house cocktail aperitifs.

À la carte formulas

Flexible and adapted to your moods and schedule, our daily formulas come in several options: starter + main course + dessert; starter + main course; main course + dessert.

For a quick lunch, the ‘express’ menu includes the dish of the day, a glass of wine or mineral water and a coffee served with its mouthwatering petit-fours. And, of course, there's the children's menu for all our little foodies.

Whether you have opted for meat or fish, the wine menu features a selection of regional appellations that will provide the perfect accompaniment to your meal, be it a Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais, Côtes du Rhône, Crozes-Hermitage or Saint-Joseph.
